Rem V. Petrov
Academician,
Adviser to the Russian Academy of Sciences,
Member of the Council on Science and High Technologies at the President of Russia,
President of the Scientific Council of the Foundation

Dear reader,
The Science of Longevity Foundation and ITAR-TASS begin publication of the Herald of Science of Longevity Foundation. The founders of SLF are the largest scientific organizations of the country, including the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The strategic slogan of the Foundation is part of its name - science of longevity. By this name, the founders emphasize: we are not traditional gerontology, the science of aging. We are the science of how to live maximally longer and a maximally fully functional life. The strategy expressed in the name of the Foundation is close to Suvorov's "science of how to win".
